Zoom Call Summary: First week of dates! It starts with two group dates and one one-on-one date. The first group date is a sex-positive show. They show Katie that they are sex-positive through different skits. The winner of the show was Mike, who is the virgin of this season. At the dinner portion, Thomas gets the group date rose. Also, that night we learn that Karl is going to be a small villain for the season, as he was really obnoxious and will be stirring the pot.
For the one-on-one, the first impression rose Greg gets the date. They go camping for their date. This date reminded Katie a lot about her father who had passed away. In the night portion, we learned that Greg also lost his father recently. They seem to have a great connection and Greg is going to go far!
The second group date was mud wrestling. One of the matchups is between Aaron and Cody. Appartleny Aaron and Cody knew each other from back home, and Aaron believes he was there for the wrong reasons. Later that night, Katie sends Cody home after she confronted him about what Aaron said. Andrew S goes to comfort her after the drama, and they spark about having similar childhood uprisings. Andrew S gets the group date rose.
At the cocktail party, Karl tells Katie that multiple people are not here for the right reasons. Katie listens to him and calls out the guys. No rose ceremony.
My Reactions to the Episode
This all in all was a good episode. There were a couple of good connections formed, the dates weren't too dumb, and they leave us with a cliffhanger. Karl is going to be annoying if he stays around for a while. He is just there for the attention, and how he talks about the other girls and Katie comes off disrespectful to the process. It is only week two, but Greg just locked in for hometowns with his one-on-one. Their connection at the moment is way farther than any other connection. Other people, I liked after this episode: Andrew S, Michael, and John.
