It's time for you to say sorry to the Knicks.

Can I get a Bing Bong? For the first time since 2013, the Knicks have won a playoff round. The took down the "big-bad" Cavs in a dominant five games. Their defense was tremendous, their depth proved people wrong, and they now have a clear path to the conference finals if the Bucks fall to Miami.

As a Knicks fan, you just have to sit there and smile. The past decade has been dark. We watched Melo get shipped off. We had no point guard consistency whatsoever. We witnessed Phil Jackson tank the franchise. We were mocked, we were ridiculed, we were laughed at. BUT NOW WE ARE HERE!

Now that we are in our glory, it's time to take some names. Over the past few years, I've seen these comments circulate on a regular basis. I am now asking for apologies. Let's dive into those infamous comments.

No. 1, The Knicks lost KD and Kyrie to the Nets?!

The Nets playoff record since signing Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, 7-17 record and one series wins. The Knicks record in that time frame? 5-5 and one series win. Now, both those guys are off the team, and the Knicks are on an upward trajectory.

No. 2 - LOL Knicks, you missed out on Zion

RJ Barrett has played 4 seasons for the Knicks. He has averaged 18.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 271 regular-season games.

Zion Williamson has played 3 seasons for the Pelicans He has averaged 25.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 114 regular-season games. He's never played in the playoffs.

It makes you think...

No. 3 - You paid Jalen Brunson how much??

Jalen Brunson rank among points guards this season: 6th in points, 15th largest contract. He had five straight 20+ ppg in this series. Brunson will go down as one of the greatest signings in Knicks history.

No. 4 - I can't believe you didn't trade for Donovan Mitchell

he Cavs traded traded Markkanen, Sexton, Agbaji, 3 unprotected 1sts, and 2 pick swaps for one player. The Knicks got clowned for not getting him. Knicks just beat the Cavs in 5 games, and still have all of their picks/assets.

It's never too late to say sorry. In return, ride the Knicks wave this playoffs. Place some responsible wages (on DraftKings), catch the Knicks fever, sit back, and relax. No more doubting this team anymore...
