The Bronx Tales: Underwhelming and embarrassing, and that's the season.

Well... that's it? Embarrassing. Gut-wrenching. Flat out pathetic. A waste of an awesome season. The electric start, the MVP season from Judge, the thrilling Guardians series. Washed. I don't have the words, nor the energy to dive in, so here are my quick thoughts.

Congrats to the Astros. Pains me to say it, but they have our number. They are a better team and the Yanks didn't deserve to move on. Not trying to be a hardo fan, but they shouldn't have been swept either. Each game, they blew it. Poor defense, shitty judgement calls, lack of offense, terrible game management, incoherent lineup and bullpen calls. Just flat out bad. No need to point fingers, but everyone was just eh (besides Bader tbh). But Aaron Boone making excuses about the roof and the weather, he can go kick rocks. I am over his antics. You've done nothing but inherit a good team each and every season. Go back to the booth.

I'll get into a deeper epilogue tomorrow, and an even more detailed offseason wishlist next week, but this is my to-do list for Hal and Co.

  1. Sign Aaron Judge to whatever he wants. Do NOT let him walk.

  2. Convince Anthony Rizzo to opt-into his player option

  3. Fire Aaron Boone AND Brian Cashman, shake the system up immediately.

  4. Somehow get Aaron Hicks, Josh Donaldson, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa OFF the roster. I don't

Fuck, man. This sucks.
