We've all heard the word "no" at some point in our lives. It's not a word I'm particularly fond of. From a young age, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I vividly remember wanting a dog but being told "no." Instead of accepting defeat, I channeled my determination into creating a convincing PowerPoint presentation outlining all the reasons why I should be allowed to start my own dog walking and boarding service. Little did I know, this would be the catalyst for my entrepreneurial journey. Through this experience, I learned essential skills like responsibility, communication, and time/money management.

As my dog walking business flourished, I found myself immersed in the world of entrepreneurship. This unexpected path not only ignited my passion for business but also revealed my attraction for sales and money management. These early lessons in entrepreneurship have become the foundation of who I am today, guiding me through challenges and helping me succeed in various aspects of life.
Being a Triple Threat: Asian, Jewish, and Athlete
Being an Asian Jewish three-sport athlete presented its unique set of challenges. On the sports court and field, I encountered stereotypes and doubts from being a girl and an Asian athlete. Playing basketball, I was even compared to Jeremy Lin. Despite facing skepticism and prejudice, I harnessed these experiences to fuel my determination and prove that I am more than capable. My Jewish identity brought both moments of pride and instances of ignorance, but it further shaped my resilience and sense of self.

A Journey of College and Beyond
The pursuit of higher education and a successful athletic career took me on a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. From navigating the college search process to finding my place on the basketball court, I discovered the importance of perseverance and resilience. After all, it's not about the challenges we face, but how we respond to them that defines us. Today, I'm proud to play basketball at Bryant University, a testament to my unwavering determination.
