Two weeks away from March Madness, and the postseason picture for all nine Metro teams in pretty unclear. Let's see how our five contributors voted in this week's Metro Poll.

The Metro Poll 2021-22- Week 17

It's hard to say how much Wagner's loss to Bryant on Saturday affects their postseason chances. We all knew that the NEC is a one-bid league this year, and will be for the foreseeable future, so winning the tournament was always their only path to the tourney. That being said, without a conference regular season championship, they no longer have an auto-bid to this year's NIT. While the NIT is probably something a bit lower than the Seahawks are striving for, an appearance in any sort of tournament could give a program like that a huge boost. As the NEC tournament begins this week, with Wagner entering on Wednesday, they'll have one last chance to make a push.

Elsewhere around the poll, it looks like St. John's has completed their spiraling out of any sort of postseason chances with a loss to DePaul this weekend, and Iona hits cruise control before heading into the MAAC tournament.
