Armando Bacot. UNC Forward, double-double machine, NIL savant, and now actor. If you haven't watched Outer Banks Season 3 yet, spoiler but not really a spoiler, Armando Bacot made his TV debut.
In Episode 8, Armando Bacot plays Barracuda Mike's bodyguard. He is watching JJ and John B as they try to negotiate travel to South America with the drug smugglers. While JJ attempts to convince Barracuda Mike, John B asks Bacot's character "what do you guys catch out here?"
His response? A solid one line, harsh yet comical delivery.
"Money"
John gets the hint and stops asking questions.

College Hoops fans were like Leonardo DiCaprio in "One Upon A Time in Hollywood", jumping out of their seats and pointing at the TV when Bacot appeared on the screen. Twitter erupted
Funny enough, I've seen more about Bacot's OBX cameo online then his play on the court this season. Bacot is averaging 17 points and 11 rebounds and he also broke Tyler Hansbrough's record for most double-doubles in UNC history.
Well, if UNC misses the tournament this year, Bacot can get a jumpstart on some more acting opportunities. Ideally (and selfishly), I hope the Knicks can snag him in the upcoming draft. If he wants to get into the entertainment business, the Big Apple and Bacot would be the perfect combo.
