Another Olympics in the books, and we thank you for following along with "Breakfast with the Americans". It was a fun ceremony filled with high hopes and the two week celebration comes to a close.
It wasn't the best showing for Team USA, as they finished fifth in total medals, and won one fewer gold medal than host nation China. This was the first time since 2008 Beijing and the second time since 1992 that the United States was the top medal finisher.
On the final day, Jessie Diggins claimed her second medal of the games and the last for Team USA, winning silver in the women's 30-kilometer mass start in cross country skiing.
