BREAKING: USC to face Tulane in Cotton Bowl

Well shit.

USC versus Tulane in the Cotton Bowl. It is definitely not the same as playing Ohio State or Georgia, but I guess it is a NY6 bowl. I think it is still a huge bummer with the way things played out, but making a NY6 in Lincoln Riley's first year is a huge W in my opinion. The program made great strides in their first year and I'm already looking forward to next year.

This is definitely one of the most unique matchups I've seen in a NY6 bowl. There is also a lot of "what ifs" that will really change the dynamic of the game. If Caleb Williams doesn't play, that will take a lot of juice out of the event. A lot of USC players could opt out as well, similar to when half of Ohio State opted out of the Rose Bowl last year.

It is pretty crazy that USC's bowl opponent is one of the most least successful programs in college football over the past 80 years and a program that has almost been disbanded many times. Also crazy that a program like Tulane gets into a NY6.

On a personal level this is so tough because Tulane has made me so much money this year and they are the ATS champions. I don't wanna bet against a team that is the ATS champions. They were 11-2 ATS.

The opening line is USC -2.5 but really subject to change with injuries and opt outs. If everyone plays, I really like the over. Neither of these teams have good defenses and I see a lot of points on the board.

It's been a fun year of USC football, and we ain't done yet!
