Does USC have their guy for the 2024 season?

The USC Trojans took on Louisville in the Holiday Bowl on Wednesday in San Diego, CA. Miller Moss got the start and completely dazzled. His record breaking performance leaves the USC QB search for next year a lot more interesting. Many believe that Lincoln Riley will dip into the transfer portal for next year, but with Miller's performance last night...he might be the guy. With USC's inaugural season in the Big Ten looming, their search for a QB will be definitely be interesting.

Moss started in place of Caleb Williams, who is headed for the NFL. The Trojans are expected to land a quarterback in the transfer portal for next season, but Moss certainly made his case for the starting job next fall.

Moss went 23-of-33 for 372 yards and threw six touchdowns with one interception in the win for the Trojans in San Diego. It was his first college start and he BALLED out. USC won 42-28 in a game where they were 7 point underdogs. Moss was also never flustered by anything in the game. He threw a pick with USC in deep scoring territory that was pretty bad, but it never rattled him. He looked like a true vet out there.

I took a peak at Moss's recruiting profile from 2020 and he was a 4 star coming out of high school and ranked 94 overall on 247 sports. He's been a DAWG for a while now, and I hope he gets a shot to be QB1 next year at USC.

He also had an offers from Bama, Arkansas and Auburn.

As an LA native, I love seeing other native Angelenos picking hometown schools over others like Bama.

Take a look at his full highlights from last night:
