I will (responsibly) be hammering the Panthers Week 1. Baker Mayfield named starter vs. former team.

Once Carolina traded for Cleveland's once golden boy, there was no question that he was going to be the started. Now that it's confirmed, all eyes or on the Week 1 matchup.

When I say I am hammering the Panthers on Week 1, you might as well call me MC Hammer, and the bet is 2 Legit 2 Quit. I don't think Baker is a Super Bowl leading QB, but I think the Browns did him dirty.

The Panthers have the pieces with CMC and a solid receiving core. The last time the Browns won a Week 1 was 2004. I don't think they are due to change. It's obviously too early to tell, but DraftKings has Carolina as the favorites. Hopefully Baker gets the job done.
