Is Field of Dreams the best baseball movie ever? Plus gambling lines for the Yanks/White Sox game.

Like any kid in the early 2000s, I grew up loving baseball. Field of Dreams is one of those movies you watch and you get the feels. It's an all time classic and its fun to have an excuse to watch it again. This weekend, the iconic film will have a game of it's own, as the Yankees take on the White Sox in the innaguirial classic remake.

Tonight was one of those nights where I watched it again. No surprise, I was loving it. The "corny" comedy, the patriotism, historical ties, and the story of it all. To be honest...If I am putting it up there on the Mount Rushmore of baseball films (shoutout Pardon My Take), its Moneyball, Major League, Sandlot and Field of Dreams. But that is a blog on its own.

Field of Dreams is a helluva movie for many reasons. A Kevin Costner - James Earl Jones - Ray Liotta is an all time trio. It's baseball based but not down your throat. It offers an awesome message about standing true to yourself, sticking with your dreams, and not listening to the doubters. It represented the America dream, and showcased America's pastime. And all in all, its a great feel good story If you haven't seen it, try it out this weekend, it's an easy watch that has some great moments.

If you build it, they will come.

I think this is going to be a fun game to bet on. It's probably been said a billion times but if you build it, they will bet is a no brainer tag line. Until the props are released, here's what I am rocking with for now.

- Yankees ML (+165)

- O 9.5 runs (-105)

Parlay ML+ O/U = +416

Andrew Heaney is on the bump, he's let up at least four runs in his last three starts. It is also a novelty game, so you have to imagine its going to a batter friendly ball game. Remember London 2019? I am riding the over on this one.

The White Sox are one of the hotter teams in the league, especially with Jiminez and Roberts returning. Maybe this is a Lance Lynn rivalry game? However, t he Yankees are good, but they are playing with their backs against the wall in a tight race. Theese stretch of games are tighter than your hammies. The IL is coming back, the pressure is on, I'm riding with the Yanks on this matchup.
