LEON ROSE COOKS FOR THE KNICKS AT NBA TRADE DEADLINE

According to Woj, the Pistons and Knicks finalized a trade Thursday morning that sent Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks to New York in exchange for Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono, and two second-round picks.

The Knicks were able to add two veterans to bolster their roster as they gear up for a deep playoff run in the Eastern Conference. Alec Burks has already had a stint with the Knicks from 2020 to 2022, so it shouldn't take him that long to get adjusted.

Burks is a nice combo guard and can fill in backup point guard duties, essentially replacing Immanuel Quickley.

Bogdanovic is a 3-and-D wing who was an important part of a winning run in Utah before being traded to the miserable Pistons. He can help fill in for OG Anunoby and Julius Randle, who are both injured with no set timeline for a return.

It must be the best feeling in the world getting traded from a dumpster-fire organization like Detroit to NYC.

The Knicks also retained all of their 1st round draft picks, so they will most likely go after a superstar this summer. LeBron to the Knicks!? Leon Rose also mended his relationship with Klutch Sports recently, so do all signs point to the King in NYC!?

The Knicks title odds moved from +2500 to +1600 after the trade. Currently +2000 on DraftKings, only 6 teams have shorter odds than them.
