Via Front Office Sports, CBS has confirmed that SpongeBob will perform "Sweet Victory" to kickoff Nickelodeon's first-ever Super Bowl broadcast.
The performance will recreate an iconic and extremely nostalgic scene from SpongeBob that so many of us love and remember. This video has had a cult-like following for years, and it will be sweet to see on the Nickelodeon broadcast.
I didn't even know Nick was doing a broadcast, but I'm not mad, considering their past broadcasts have been funny with the NVP and the slime graphics. Nothing like SpongeBob and Patrick in the booth.
I might have to tune into the Nick broadcast because I'd rather listen to Patrick on the mic rather than Tony Romo for 3 hours...
