Met Life: Can't believe I'm saying this. The Giants are back, in the hunt, and Tommy Cutlets is him.

December 11th, 2023.

Tommy DeVito leads the Giants to a comeback 4th quarter victory.

Randy Bullock nails the winning field goal.

The Giants are 5-8 and "in the hunt" for the playoffs.

Was any of that on your pre-season bingo cards? How about a month ago?

What. A. World.

Injuries, adversities, and uncertainties now lead us to meaningful football with a few weeks left. I don't know what the future holds anymore. It isn't Drake Maye, but it could be Heisman Winner Jaden Daniels. Or, if I am silly enough to say, it could be right in front of us with Tommy freaking DeVito. I mean, look at how the team and fans are reacting.

I hate to say this, but we are seeing someone who is just outperforming Daniel Jones. The personality, the swagger, and now the performance. Tommy Cutlets has taken the world by storm. DeVito has shades of Daniel Jones, but clearly at a more elevated standard this season. This game alone was clean as can be. He threw for 158 yards and a touchdown on 80%. He didn't get sacked, and he played a turnover-free game. He rushed for 71 yards, while getting the offense an additional 138 yards on the ground. He made clutch throws to Wan'dale Robinson and Isiah Hodgins, while going 4-for-4 for 53 yards on the game-winning drive, leading the Giants to a 24-22 win over Green Bay. Most importantly - he made Giants fans happy again and has a real shot to bring this team back to the promise land.

There is still a lot of work to be done. The G-Men need wins over the Saints and Rams, plus some NFC help, and more Eagles downfalls. But for tonight, and for the third straight week, it's time to celebrate.
