Met Life: Joe Schoen just made A TRADE. Darren Waller is a New York Giants

WOAH WOAH WOAH. Joe Schoen has just fleeced the Raiders. You would think, with Jimmy G replacing Derek Carr, that you would want all the weapons in Las Vegas. Adams, Renfroe, Jacobs, Myers, and Waller, right? Well I GUESS NOT! The Giants have added a new personnel for Daniel Jones, and I am ecstatic. This trade is crazy, even Madden would have said "hell no".

Reasons why I LOVE this trade.

• Waller and Bellinger become the best TE duo in the league. Elite red zone offense, great pass catching and blocking, this is a one-two punch

• We essentially traded Kadarius Toney for Darren Waller and a 6th Round Pick.

• The Packers offered the Raiders a second-round pick for Darren Waller at the trade deadline and Vegas turned them down, we got him for a third.

• Waller is a high upside low floor player. The last two years he has missed 14 games but in the two years prior to that he had over 1,100 receiving yard

• Waller has no dead cap over the last 3 years of his deal. His salary is guaranteed this year but there are no future guarantees to consider. Waller’s cap charges in 2024 and 2025 will be $13 and $15 million with no dead money, unless they restructure the contract, if they were to move on after one year.
