Met Life: Six and Won. The "underdog" Giants defeat the Jaguars after Jones and Barkley run wild.

Underdogs? Nahh, they got the Dawgs in them. Another week, another win, and just like that the Giants have one of the best records in all of the NFL. Who had that on their bingo cards?! The fact that the Giants were plus money was criminal. I told everyone and their mother if they wanted free cash, they should hammer the Giants.

Even on an "off game" for the defense, which allowed 310 passing yards by Trevor Lawrence and 114 rushing yards by Travis Etienne, the Giants held the Jaguars to a mere 17 points. There were big stands in the fourth quarter and the last play was a combined tackle effort from Fabian Moreau, Julian Love and Xavier McKinney. Welcome back, Landon Collins, who recorded his first tackle on his former teammate, Even Engram. McKinney forced a fumble on Etienne at the Giants’ 5-yard line and Love recovered the loose ball in the end zone. This team has all the tools.

A player who deserves a lot of credit, and doesn't get enough of it, is Graham Gano. Another masterclass performance from in the field goal department, hitting three of them at 33/34 yards, one even going through despite being tipped. Kickers win games too.

The offense revolves around Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, and I absolutely love it. First off, Daniel Jones has become a clutch quarterback, and I don't want to hear otherwise. Jones has 5 game-winning drives this season No one else in the NFL has more than 3. He also has handled adversity, and when the offense can't come up with anything, he rucks the ball and runs it in himself. Daniel Jones is the first Giants QB to record 100 rush yards in a game since Frank Filchock in 1946. DJ is that dude.

Speaking of dudes, Saquon Barkley is having a nice little revenge tour this season, and making his case for OPOY and potentially MVP. Barkley has 906 yards from scrimmage this season. Nearly 100 more than any other player (Nick Chubb, 807).

The duo combined for 217 rushing yards today , which is the first time a pair of Giants teammates each rush for over 100 since 2010. Mike Kafka has unlocked a beast, two beasts!

Next Game

A trip to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. A reunion game with former quarterback Geno Smith. It's infuriating how he is performing now, because I am still salty about how Ben McAdoo tarnished Eli Manning's start streak for Geno Smith, and he provided an absolute dud. It won't be easy to play against the 12th man, and Seattle has strung together some nice wins against teams like the Chargers and Cardinals. I like the underdog tag the Giants have been given, and I anticipate another upset. Let's Go Big Blue.
