Rhode Island Hoops Players of the Week: Ed Croswell (Providence) and Ish Leggett (URI).




And just like that, our season finale! Conference tournaments are upon us and the Big Dance is just days away. To close it out, we have two players sharing the honors of Rhode Island Hoops Player of the Week. Earning the award this week, we have Ed Croswell (Providence) and Ish Leggett (URI)!


Leggett, a 3x winner this year, had an efficient week, scoring 21.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in three games. He scored 20 points in the Rams win against Loyola Chicago.


Croswell, who won the award in last week, averaged a cool double-double, with 16.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3 assists. His breakout game came in the 20 point win against Georgetown, where the senior center dropped 25 points and 13 rebounds.
