The Dawgs do it again! March Madness Darling, Doug Edert, has transferred to Bryant.

Today, Bryant officially announced the move to the America East Conference. A move upwards for Grasso and the Dawgs, and a move highly anticipated after being crowned NEC Champions.

It will definitely be a jump in competition, and the leader of that pack is of course Vermont. The Catamounts have won the AE regular season title the past 6 years and have been to the Big Dance 8 times since 2003.

However, if there is a team that can come in and compete, it's the Bryant Bulldogs. Coach Grasso has been known for his recruiting abilities, and this upcoming season is no different.

They recently just added former Georgetown and URI forward Antwan Walker, as well as All-CAA Hofstra Rookie, Kyvon Cramer.

Their next move? A major add to the program and March sensation. The best mustache in the tourney, Dougie Buckets...

I mean, are you kidding? This is HUGE. A three year player at Saint Peter's, he came to life in the past tournament dropping 14 points per game on 52% shooting and over 57% from three.

I really thought Doug was going to head to Seton Hall, after his St. Peter's coach (Shaheen Holloway) was recently hired their. But alas, he found a home in Smithfield, and it happened all so quick.

How did this happen? Well the Nation's leading scorer gave him a tour on campus, enlightened him of the Bulldog way, and the rest is history.

Give him Ambassador of the Year for this one! After the news broke, I was envisioning a trio of Edert, Pride, and Kiss. Sadly, he let the world know his time at Bryant has come to an end, as he prepares for the NBA Draft.

Thankful for his time at the Dawg Pound, what a season it was. Although Kiss said his time at Bryant has come to a close, but I still think the door is cracked open for a return.

No matter, Charles Pride is ready to lead this team, a whole new team indeed. The starting lineup could look like this.

G Sherif Kenney

G Doug Edert

G Charles Pride

F Antwan Walker

F Joel Kabimba

6. Chauncey Hawkins

7. Kvonn Cramer

And that doesn't include some returning names like Joe Moon, Erickson Bans, Tyler Brelsford and Timmy Kiggins. Catamounts and America, you have been warned. I'm ready for the fall. Dawgs to the Dance round 2?
