In the age of an expanding College Football Playoff, there is a growing consensus that the selection process for determining a National Champion should be concise; Let the concept of dozens of selectors go the way of leather helmets, the single wing formation, and Big East Football. However, even when the best of the best isn't up for debate, there's something beautiful about racking up a series of awards to commemorate a season well-played.
Check out Coach Saban in the below pic, celebrating his Consensus 2012-13 National Championship with the AP National Championship, Grantland Rice Trophy, MacArthur Bowl, and AFCA Coaches' Trophy.
To further enhance the end-of-year celebrations, the staff at House Enterprise would like to formally introduce the inaugural Football House National Championship, a final poll ranking to honor only the best in a given college football season.
For the inaugural 2022-23 award, we would like to congratulate none other than the 2022 Georgia Bulldogs, who completed a 15-0 season tonight against the TCU Horned Frogs. After taking down the likes of Tennessee, LSU, and Ohio State on their way to the CFP Championship, it's only fitting that the Top Dawgs get the laurels they deserve.
