  • There are no first-timers in this year's preseason Top 25. 5 teams made their Football House Top 25 debut in 2025 (Auburn, North Texas, USF, Texas Tech, Virginia)

  • Indiana, last season's College Football Playoff and Football House National Champion, debuts this season at 4th overall. Last season, the Hoosiers earned their first no. 1 overall ranking in the December 7th poll after their victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship.
