If you listened to our interview with Christine and Yyvan of Dead Low Brewing Company, you may have heard a teaser of a potential trip. We're happy to announce that the crew is flying to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on a Bockfest!
One of the biggest beer festivals in the United States, Bockfest is Cincinnati’s annual celebration of Spring, the area’s brewing heritage, and bock beer, and celebrating it's 30th birthday this year in the Over-the-Rhine's historic Brewery District.
During the weekend, we'll be visiting our friends over at Dead Low and exploring the city and learning about the rich craft beer history that Cincinnati has. We'll be interviewing folks over at Sam Adams Taproom, Rhinegeist Brewery, and Moerlein Lager House to hear about their respective brands and hear about the beer community as a whole. We will be going underground and exploring the Brewing Heritage Trail and get to witness the history up close and personal. And of course, we'll be the boots on the ground for Bockfest, drinking away like we're over in Munich Germany.
