Who's back of the week? Eli Manning. The Giants welcome back the former QB in a special announcement

You thought Eli's dad jokes were the only thing making a return in 2021, then think again. The New York Football Giant legend, the 2x Super Bowl MVP, and Tom Brady's very own kryptonite is making his Giants return....

Danny Dimes is still the gun-slinger, however, Eli Manning is rejoining the organization. Manning will take on a role within business operations and fan engagement. John Mara proudly announced today the signing of Manning to the front office. "His ties with the team and with the fanbase run incredibly deep, and it's those relationships that his new responsibilities will tap into, as he'll help with initiatives stretching across business development, marketing and community and corporate relations." Manning will also be taking a page out of Peyton's book and will create original content and fan engagement activations. He will be launching a new lifestyle series that will air this fall.

Eli retired in 2019, following 16 years playing with the Giants. It is only fitting to have him return to the Meadowlands and provide to this team. Not only did he get a new job, but he also is cementing himself into the Giants history books. According to the Giants media presser, Eli Manning will be inducted into the Giants' Ring of Honor and will have his No. 10 jerseys retired during a special halftime ceremony on September 26th, becoming the 43rd member of the Giants Ring of Honor. No Giant will ever wear No. 10 again, and rightfully so. Without Eli, there would be no 21st century Giant Super Bowl wins. This is just another step towards Canton, Ohio where Dave Baker will one day welcome Eli to the Hall.

Welcome back, Eli! Hopefully having you back in the house can spark up something special for this team. #TogetherBlue
