BWaB Clayton's Season Week 3 - ShrimpGate + My Reaction to Interviewing Jesse Palmer

Updated: May 19, 2022

Zoom Call Summary: The episode starts back up at the cocktail party. Clayton is asking Jesse if he can take a rose back. Jesse gives him the heads up that there are no rules.

Clayton pulls Cassidy aside and to save you the long conversation, sends Cassidy home. He felt there was distrust and with it being so early on, he didn't believe they could get there. At the rose ceremony a few ladies go home. The one who works for the Selling Sunset group was one of them. 18 girls remain!

Cut to the next day, the first group date is run by Kaitlyn, host of The Bachelorette. She is moderating a trust circle where everyone seems to open up and share stuff about themselves. According to Clayton's insta story, this was one of his favorite group dates of the season. As it should be too because on the other group dates you really do not have time to learn a lot of the ladies, where as the whole day was about them sharing about themselves. Eliza gets the group date rose.

Sarah gets the one-on-one. She is the 23 financial advisor from NYC. Their day portion of the date is ran by Becca Kufrin. She has them run around downtown LA in their underwear and do a scavenger hunt. For the night portion of the date they have dinner in the Van Gough immersive experience. I have heard those aren't worth the hype, but I think there is something different about being there for a private dinner and a band playing for you. Sarah gets the rose.

The second group date is Baywatch themed.

Nicole Eggert hosts the date and they do a few different lifeguard exercises. The girls seem to be having fun but the producers kept cutting to Elizabeth and Shanae. To add a little context, the day before Elizabeth made all of the girls some nice looking shrimp. Shanae took like 8 pieces of the shrimp. Then Shanae made some more shrimp and when she brought them out, she felt like no one cared. So that is where we are at.

At the drinks part of the group date, Shanae told Clayton that Elizabeth and other girls were bullying her, making it a toxic environment, all these things and then it cuts to Shanae in an interview being like, "I just won". We did see that Gabi got the group date rose but the episode pretty much ended with Shanae saying she is winning. Time will tell to see see how much farther Shanae makes it, but she is the one who seems to be stirring up all of the drama.

Interviewing Jesse Palmer

If you did not get a chance to listen, Will, Jake and I got a chance to sit down with Jesse Palmer for 15 minutes last week to talk about this season of the Bachelor. Will put together a great recap on some of the best clips from the interview and a link to the podcast.

For me, there were two big oh shit moments that still blow my mind that it even happened. The first was the company we were with who also got to interview Jesse. We were 1 of 10 media outlets that had the opportunity to talk with him while he was doing a quick media tour. Some of those outlets include: Barstool, US Weekly, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, iHeartRadio, and then Beers, Business, and Balls. To be in that company is surreal and I don't know what it is, but something we are doing at House Enterprise is working if we have the chance to put our name with those prestigious media outlets.

The second oh shit moment was getting to even speak to him. If you listen to the interview, there is only so much we can get to talk to him because he was talking about a season that is currently airing and he can't spoil the season. But that we got to talk to the host, he gave us some time out of his busy calendar, while the season is currently airing, it was so cool! I said it on the podcast but I have been watching every season for awhile now. Probably 6/7 years and I think it equates to like 15/20 seasons from this franchise. Having the ability to now watch the show and be like, "hey I know that guy" (kinda) is a really cool feeling and very grateful that we got the opportunity to speak with Jesse Palmer.

Thanks for reading.
