Jake Fromm should get the chance this week, not Mike Glennon. Inside the Giants QB room decision.

I sure miss the reliability of Eli Manning. Number 10 never missed a game due to injury, and he started 210 consecutive games from 2004 to 2017, the third-longest consecutive starts streak by an NFL quarterback.

Enter Daniel Jones, who hasn't had a full season under his belt in his career, and is now out for the foreseeable future with a structural damage in his neck. Jones was not cleared for contact and remains a limited participant in practice. He will miss his second consecutive game on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Head Coach, Joe Judge, said there’s no reason to believe Jones’ injury is season-ending, but the Giants want to be cautious. This is giving me major David Wilson vibes, and I hope for Jones' sake, he has a speedy recovery.

Career backup, Mike Glennon, took over as QB1 last week, and let's just say his performance was subpar. Nine points the offense scored by the way. He got banged up himself after the Dolphins game, and was placed in concussion protocol. It seemed during the bye week he was going to be out.

The next man up? Former Buffalo Bill and Georgia Bulldog, Jake Fromm.

The 23 year old was a stud down at Athens. In three seasons at Georgia, the former Bulldog threw for 7236 yards with 78 TD's and only 18 interceptions. He was the SEC freshman of the year in 2017, winning the conference that season, and added a Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl win in his final two seasons. He was drafted in the fifth round by the Bills in 2020, but has been stuck behind Josh Allen and then Mitch Trubisky on the depth chart.

Well the hype was short lived, because no reports are saying Glennon will get the nod again as the starter. Infuriating. Mike Glennon is a bonified scrub. I said it, and I don't regret it! After last weeks debacle, it makes no sense why they would want Glennon to start again.

The Giants are slated to face the Chargers in LA tomorrow. They open up as 10 point underdogs, and to be honest, it should've been more. I do not want to watch Mike Glennon anymore. From a dedicated fan and a loyal fanbase, give Jake Fromm a shot. What's the worse that can happen?
