Will the Lakers ever win a game?

Well, things keep getting worse for the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron is 0-4 to start a season for the first time since his rookie year in 2003. The Lakers are a disaster and they are an abysmal 3 point shooting team. Actually, they are just an abysmal team. They are shooting 22% from three through the first four games, which is the lowest in NBA history throughout 4 games.

The Lakers' current roster is bizarre, maybe the oddest constructed roster in the league. They did universally nothing in the offseason to make the roster better and many are starting to blame LeFraud James. This whole disaster really started in summer 2021 when LeFraud chose to recruit all his buddies onto the team. This included Russ, Carmelo, and Dwight Howard. All these players were disasters. Carmelo and Dwight are now unemployed. Of course, Russ is still on the roster and committing highway robbery making 47 million.

They also got rid of some solid players like Kyle Kuzma, KCP, and of course, fan favorite, Alex Caruso. Letting Caruso walk was one of the biggest mistakes the Lakers made in the 2021 offseason. This is a prime example of how a player shouldn't try to be GM.

Going back to three point shooting, basically every winning team LeBron has been apart of has great three point shooters. That is literally the key to success with LeBron. All you have to do is get a 3 and D guy and 3 decent shooters and you have a solid team. However, the guys they got are maybe the worst three point shooters I've ever seen. The 3 point "marksman" who they signed is a guy named Matt Ryan. No one knows who this guy is and I bet LeBron doesn't even know his first name.

Now, when the Lakers lose, the internet celebrates. There is something so exciting about going on NBA Twitter when the Lakers lose.

Take a look at NBA Twitter's best:

Laker fans are absolutely ruthless creating a gofundme for a contract buyout for Westbrick.

The Lakers schedule only gets harder and I'm expecting some serious moves by December/January if this team continues to stink it up (which they most likely will). The last time the Lakers started 0-4 was in Kobe's last year. They finished the season 17-65.

I will continue to laugh and clown this team until they actually look like a real basketball team.
