Lakers' LeBron James expected to miss 'extended period of time' with foot injury

The Lakers were just starting to figure things out, winning 3 straight games and completing a miraculous comeback of 27 points yesterday in Dallas.

However, they will be be without their superstar, LeBron James for an indefinite amount of time. During Sunday's game against the Mavericks, LeBron sustained an ankle injury where he said he "heard a pop" in his right foot. LeBron remained in the game, however was seen walking very gingerly after the game.

Lakers head coach, Darvin Ham said he was "good" post-game however that was probably before he did sone further testing. LeBron posted to his IG story with a photo of his foot wrapped up.

The Lakers first game without James will be against the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday night on TNT.
