The fans asked, and Hal delivered. The 16th Captain of the New York Yankees, Aaron Judge!

What a way to start off the holiday week. When they announced the press conference and showed that Derek Jeter was going to be in town, there was no doubt in my mind that the Yankees were about to slap the C on his chest. Low and behold, our wishes were granted. I wish I was a 12 year old kid again watching this presser, because history was made.

The Yankees have delivered thus far. They re-signed Rizzo, they added bullpen depth in Kahnle, they bolstered the rotation with Rodon, and now they officially made Aaron Judge the Captain. All is well in the world.

I don't care what the little brother Mets did today, all eyes are were on the Yankees press conference, and it was perfect to say the least. Hal ensured that Aaron Judge wasn't going to walk, Judge knew it was New York or nowhere, Derek Jeter proudly passed the torch, and now it's time to go to work. The Yank's said they weren't done this offseason, so let's buckle up and start chasing 28.
