Week 3 recap, fantasy MVP's, and results from the league

Week 3 was full of close games, heartbreaks, and absolute dumpster fires. We started on Thursday night, with Ryan Fitzpatrick proving he still has some Fitzmagic. The 37-year-old vet put on a show and stunned Jacksonville. Beards 1, Mustaches 0.
Sunday brought us the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks all blowing big leads. Somehow, the Falcons were the only ones to lose. The Bills proved they are New York's team, as they move to 3-0 and both the Giants and Jets embarrassingly fall to 0-3.
The Monday night game was a doozy of a matchup. Both undefeated Chiefs and Ravens took the field, but the Chiefs were the ones who controlled the game, winning the contest 34-20. Mahomes outshined Jackson by a longshot, throwing 300 yards more than Lamar, and scoring 5 total TDs compared to Jackson's one.
This week had some surprising player performances. Rex Burkhead (Patriots) rushed for 49 yards and 2 TDs while catching 7 passes for another 49 yards and an additional TD. 49ers RBs, Jerrick McKinnon, and Jeff Wilson, combined for 39 fantasy points after scoring 3 TDs with a mishmash of rushes and catches. Vikings Rookie and LSU Star, Justin Jefferson, had 7 catches and a whopping 175 yards with a TD, and Ced Wilson (Cowboys) outperformed Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb, with 107 yards on 5 catches and 2 TDs. Tight Ends Jimmy Graham (Bears) and Tyler Kroft (Bills) each had 2 TDs.
Week 3 MVP's

TE: Jimmy Graham (Bears): 6 catches, 60 yards, 2 TD; 24 points
D/ST: Colts: 2 sacks, 3 interception, 1 safety, 2TD, 7 points allowed: 26 points

The Matchups
A lot of high scoring teams this week, but Ben takes home the gold scoring 163.8 points. He cruised by his matchup against James. Sam Basel defeated Ford to send him to 0-3. Mastrianni upset Hanold to land his first win while giving Chris his first loss. After Kamara went off, the roommate matchup was the closest of them all. It would all come down to the Chiefs game. Jake had Travis Kelce, and Will had Tyreek Hill. Tondo beat Zimmer after 21 point performance by the Cheifs wideout.
Week 3 Picks
As predicted, the Falcons would be the upset across the board. Atlanta is having a hard time closing out games, and "Big Dick Nick" put the Falcons in their place. The Jaguars and Cardinals also decided not to play good football this week and provided the majority of the guys an L. We also have our first tie of the year (which is such a dumb rule) after the Eagles decided to punt in OT to tie against the Bengals. Everyone gets a win for that game. Here are the full results and updated standings.
On this week's agenda, we plan on hammering down what the loser of the league will have to do or what they may receive. Keep an eye on @the.bbb.podcast Instagram story. The newest installment of "Air Raid" will be posted this evening. Photos from the week can be seen below. Until Thursday, signing off.
