Two weeks ago I turned 31, yeah I am getting old, we know, and I had the pleasure of visiting Center Ice Brewery based here in the #STL. So what better way to write my first post of 2021 than on the first day of Hockey talking about a brewery that lives and breathes #BluesHockey. NOW, to be clear, I am NO Blues fan, actually a DIE HARD New York Rangers fan, but the hockey scene here in the STL is out of this world. To be fair, it's no New York hockey, BUT they do have some die hard fans here and I give them props for that. (I even had the chance to celebrate their Stanley Cup win right after we had just moved here. It was pretty epic to say the least).
I sipped on their Pumpkin Lager which is one of my favorites from the fall season along with their Old Arena Lager. It was simple and tasty and the perfect beer to sip on while watching the World Junior Hockey Tournament. The ice hockey stick tap handles were one of the favorite parts of the brewery! We also made a reservation to be sure that we would have a socially distant spot to hang out and chat. All in all, it was a great visit with lots of good laughs and good beer being drank. If you are ever in the STL area, this is a spot to hit up, just make sure you make a reservation and then hit up Pappy's next door which is some of the best BBQ on this side of the Mississippi!
Now, who is ready for some Hockey?! Because I know this girl is!
